Perhaps the job has changed. The relationship has ended. The house has grown quieter. And in that spaciousness, an unfamiliar question has emerged:
Who am I now, and what do I want for the rest of my life?
I know that threshold well.
My journey into self-love was not born of ease or privilege. It was forged through survival growing up in orphanages, group homes, and foster care, becoming a mother at fourteen, navigating poverty, loneliness, and systems that often tried to decide my worth for me.
But I refused to disappear inside my circumstances.
Over decades, I learned how to alchemize pain into power. How to rise not by hardening, but by softening. How to choose myself with elegance, courage, and devotion. And how to love myself out loud without apology.
Today, I am a woman who stands firmly in her wholeness. I hold a degree in Public Administration (Summa Cum Laude), have served in both Senatorial and Congressional offices, am an alumna of the Brookings Institution Think Tank, and am a Certified Women’s Empowerment Coach. Yet my deepest qualification is this:
I have lived the becoming.
I work with accomplished women, women in transition, who are ready to reclaim the parts of themselves they set aside while building everyone else’s dreams. Women who are done surviving and ready to savor. Women who understand that luxury is not excess it is intentional self-honor.
